Creation Care Sunday, April 24th
We wil focus on the gift of creation on April 24th with our Children’s Choirs, Alleluia Choir and Jubilate Choir bringing us their music celebration as they complete another year of music and worship with us.
ACTS – Lessons for us All
During May, we’ll be learning what the book of Acts can teach us and then comes Pentecost Sunday on June 5th! We’re gonna be wearing red, orange , and yellow to create a Pentecost fire in the congregation.
AND MORE!
We are offering a variety of ways of giving as a response to the abundance God has given to us instead of passing offering plates. Online giving, giving by text, your own bank bill pay options, and mailing a check have become part of our giving tradition. We do have an offering plate in the area right outside the sanctuary for those who wish to give while at church.
We encourage you to greet each other after worship outside under the front overhang and spilling over onto the front lawn. We are enjoying the changing weather and the fun of watching children play outside as we talk.
We continue to ask everyone to enter through the Welcome Center entrance to attend Small Groups or worship at Bellevue UMC.
Children will sit with their family in worship. There is currently no nursery or children’s classes available. There are special children’s bulletins and one-time use “Worship Scribble” packs available for children with a few blanks pieces of paper, crayons, and a pencil included. Our kids corner in the Welcome Center is next to the far left sanctuary door. You’ll find a bright yellow wooden box with scribble pages on top and books to read or look at in the box. Ushers will offer you a children’s bulletin each week. If you would like to learn more about our BUMC Kids Ministry that is supported through a Facebook page, please send an email to dtyree@bumc.com.
The service will continue to be posted on our YouTube channel after worship.

Nurtured Soul Counseling and Wellness
Bellevue UMC has an on-site partnership with Nurtured Soul Counseling and Wellness. Licensed Counselor and Certified Nutritionist Mary Ann Green is meeting by appointment with clients at Bellevue UMC to walk beside them as they journey towards wholeness. Additionally, Nurtured Soul Counseling and Wellness will be offering two educational events to the congregation each year.
Members of Bellevue have the opportunity to receive a first visit at no charge. Additional visits would carry the expectation that members would either pay stated fees, use insurance, negotiate a sliding scale fee, or apply to receive financial assistance as available. Because we honor the confidentiality of counselors and their clients, you will need to contact Mary Ann directly through her contact information found on her webpage to arrange for an appointment.
Information about the services offered, fees, as well as contact information is found at: https://nurturedsoulcounseling.com/

Mary Ann Green, RD, LDN, LPC-MHSP: Nurturing the Body, Soul and Spirit
Mary Ann is passionate about the power of connection in the healing process, and that connection can be with others, with yourself and with God. She believes that we all have a body, soul and spirit, and transformational healing happens when each of these parts are nurtured. Whether you’re struggling with disordered eating, anxiety, or relationship problems, it is important that you know you don’t have to be alone in this journey. As a therapist and a registered dietitian, Ms. Green has a unique combination of skills and more than a decade of experience in helping people to nourish their bodies and souls so that they may live a more fulfilling and meaningful life. For individuals who desire a Christian approach to therapy, Mary Ann can offer this as well, while always being sensitive to the diverse spiritual needs of all people.
Ms. Green understands that no two individuals are the same, and she tailors each session to address challenges unique to you. As partners with you, she will work together to understand the root causes of your struggles and address those issues with long-lasting strategies, helping you get closer to embracing your true self and living the life you’ve always wanted.
