Mrs. Mary Combs has over 40 years’ experience directing choirs and musical groups in college, school, church, theatre, and community settings. As a teacher in public and private schools and as director of church choirs, she has worked with all levels of vocal experience and a wide variety of musical backgrounds. Mary graduated with a degree in Music Education from Lynchburg College in Virginia, with a major in Music Education and Voice. She and her husband, Jody (retired associate dean of libraries at Vanderbilt), have 2 sons, Dale and Will, and a dog, Tillie.
